I dag er vi “Editor’s Choice” på archdaily. Vi havde i september besøg af nogle udenlandske journalister, der i forbindelse med Festugen i Aarhus var blevet inviteret af kommunen til at komme og se på ny arkitektur i Aarhus.

Velfærds- og sunhedsarkitektur
Temaet var velfærds- og sundhedsarkitektur. Vi viste dem vores midlertidige byrum og haverne i Skejby. Det er der nu kommet en stor artikel ud af, som viser vores projekter fra Festugen i 2010, 2012 og 2015, samt Bispetorvet fra 2015, der også er midlertidig installation.

“Since 2010, the Danish architects from Schønherr have been developing a series of large-scale urban interventions for the Aarhus Festival, the largest cultural festival in Denmark. These temporary projects have transformed the streets and parks into extraordinary public spaces, changing the natural topography of the city to attract citizens and bring them together.

We present their last four projects: “The Forest” (2010), “The City Park” (2012), “The Plaza” (2014) and “Bishops Square” (to be completed this 2016).”
